The Science
Cancers shed DNA fragments into the bloodstream long before symptoms appear. Multi-cancer early detection reads those fragments and looks for methylation patterns that are characteristic of cancer — then predicts the most likely tissue of origin so a diagnostic workup can be targeted.

The test analyzes DNA fragments circulating in your blood, looking for methylation patterns associated with cancer. When a signal is detected, an algorithm predicts the most likely tissue of origin.
Adults with an elevated risk of cancer — typically age 50 or older, or younger adults with family history or other risk factors. It is not intended for people with an active cancer diagnosis.
A detected signal is not a cancer diagnosis — it triggers a diagnostic workup, which your VitaFlow physician will coordinate with the appropriate specialists.
Like any screening test, false negatives (missed cancers) and false positives are possible. Not all cancers can currently be detected, and sensitivity varies by cancer type and stage.
